With Wall Street boosting its expectations, gold-backed altcoins have gained significant attention. Major financial institutions like Citi and UBS have raised their gold price forecasts, enhancing interest in both physical gold and gold-backed altcoins. As the price of gold approaches $3,000 per ounce, coins such as PAXG ($2,880.93) and XAUT ($2,872.74) have also benefited from this upward trend. Strategists at UBS and Citi believe that uncertainties in the markets and geopolitical risks have increased demand for gold. This rising trend is strengthening the performance of gold-backed altcoins.

UBS has also raised its gold price forecast to $3,000. Gold has risen by 9 percent this year, currently trading at $2,860. UBS’s Chief Investment Officer Mark Haefele noted that gold’s lasting appeal as a store of value has once again been demonstrated.
