While the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC ($97,881.15)) has been exhibiting quite volatile movements lately, the declines are making investors nervous.
At this point, while many analysts stated that the decline could deepen even further in the short term, the Standard Chartered analyst explained his expectations for Bitcoin.
At this point, Standard Chartered analyst Geoff Kendrick, who predicted that Bitcoin would reach $500,000 by 2028, announced his predictions for the next four years.
The analyst predicted that Bitcoin could reach $500,000 by 2028, before Donald Trump’s term ends, citing a friendlier regulatory environment and increased investor access.
The analyst also predicts that BTC will rise to $200,000 in 2025, $300,000 in 2026, and $400,000 in 2027.
Kendrick added that the main drivers of Bitcoin’s rise include spot Bitcoin ETFs, which have attracted $39 billion in inflows, and positive regulatory changes such as the repeal of SAB 121.
“If Bitcoin volatility decreases and investor access increases, the price of Bitcoin could rise.
“Further improvements in investor access have begun under the Trump administration.”
