Immutable has partnered with Japan’s top mobile gaming developer to bring Tokyo Beast, a highly anticipated blockchain battler, onto web3. The partnership will work alongside Japan’s No. 1 mobile game developer and adds to Immutable’s growing roster of multi-billion dollar game developers.
The collaboration between Immutable and the creators of TOKYO BEAST brings together industry expertise and blockchain technology to enhance TOKYO BEAST, a game that blends traditional mobile mechanics with Web3 innovation.
TOKYO BEAST is set in Tokyo in 2124, where androids called “BEAST” compete in high-stakes tournaments. Players can either battle in “XENO-karate” competitions or predict match outcomes. Winning predictions earn in-game items and virtual currency. The game introduces a pooled NFT system, allowing new players to join without owning NFTs. This ensures accessibility while maintaining value for NFT holders.
