Israel’s premier Web3 conference, Building Blocks, has announced its eagerly awaited return to Tel Aviv’s Jaffa Port on March 27, 2025. The conference is the main event of ETHTLV Week, which takes place from March 24 to 28.
Building Blocks 25 (BB25), which brings together more than 800 developers, tech experts, and industry executives, will highlight the expansion of Israel’s Web3 ecosystem after a successful 2023 edition and a one-year break. With the support of major players in the industry like Starkware, Fireblocks, Collider, Fhenix, and SSV, the conference will be significantly larger in scope and size.
The Israeli Web3 and crypto community organizes ETHTLV Week and Building Blocks. The week’s primary conference, Building Blocks, is an important link between the burgeoning blockchain sector and the booming traditional tech sector. Mike Silagadze, the founder and CEO of EtherFi; Eli Ben Sasson, the founder and CEO of Starkware; Ameen Solimani, the founder of Spankchain; Eva Beylin, the former Foundation Director of TheGraph; CJ ($0.00) Hetherington, the co-founder and CEO of Limitless; Udi Wertheimer, the founder of Taproot Wizards; and others are among the 2025 keynote speakers.
Building Blocks 25 focuses on three core pillars:
- Building Crypto Startups: Comprehensive insights into marketing, mechanism design, tokenomics, protocol development, and security considerations, including an exclusive startup pitch competition
- Web3 Onboarding: Hands-on workshops and practical frameworks for experienced tech professionals transitioning into blockchain technology.
- Cutting-edge Innovation: Deep dives into transformative technologies including MEV, Zero-Knowledge Proofs, Scaling Solutions, Re-Staking, FHE, and MPC, showcasing Israel’s unique contribution to blockchain advancement.
“When you combine the world’s leader in unicorns per capita with the minds behind crypto’s foundational technologies like ZK, MPC, Formal Verification and more, Israel’s path to becoming a top global crypto hub becomes clear,” says Eylon Aviv, Partner at Collider. “Building Blocks and ETHTLV Week are the grassroots expression of this potential – expect to see the next generation of crypto foundations emerge from this conference.” continued Aviv.
ETHTLV Week, in collaboration with the Tel Aviv Municipality, will begin on March 24 and feature a number of side activities throughout the city. Crypto breakfast events, investor summits, tours throughout Israel, casual conversations, Crypto on the Bar events at Tel Aviv’s hippest locations, and a variety of networking opportunities spread across Tel Aviv’s lively districts.
